English Meadow Herbal Tea in Assorted Packs

Brewing: 1-2 tsp per cup ~ 100°C ~ 5-7 mins

A true taste of the English countryside. This herbal blend has been crafted after we were inspired by our lockdown walks through the hills and valleys of rural Britain.

Cup Characteristics: Light and floral with a lingering herbal finish.

Infusion: Tending orange.

Ingredients: Melissa leaves, apple pieces, lemon grass, blackberry leaves, raspberry leaves, ribwort, sweet blackberry leaves, meadowsweet blossoms, whole daisies, spearmint, poppy petals, deadnettle, marigold blossoms.

Caffeine Content: Caffeine-free.

Antioxidant Level: Medium.

This last 18 months has us appreciating the English countryside and coastal paths more than ever before. On our walks through the seasons we have foraged and admired the native plants in their abundance. All of the plants in this blend have been seen on part of our journey (with the exception of the lemongrass, and we hope you will forgive us that). 

A light and refreshing herbal blend that is just perfect for picnics or putting in your flask for a hike. In winter, the whole daisies and petals are pleasantly reminiscent of summer days in the British countryside.

Iced Tea Brewing Method

Make as for hot, but add extra tea - a rule of thumb is to double the amount of tea used per cup. When the tea has cooled a little pour over ice. It is important to make it a little stronger as the ice will water it down.

Cold Brew Method

Place the tea in a jug and add cold water. Leave to infuse for a few hours (or overnight in the fridge) strain and enjoy. Cold brewing will give a smoother taste.
