Peppermint acts as a muscle relaxant and pain reliever and has antibacterial, antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties. Because of this, peppermint tea may fight clogged sinuses due to infections, the common cold and allergies.
Ginger root is extremely beneficial for health with its high levels of Vitamin C, magnesium and other minerals. It is known to help soothe inflammation which makes ginger an excellent remedy for headache, flu and chest infections
Raspberry leaves are a good source of tannins, iron and vitamin C and other antioxidants. Blackberry leaves are among the richest sources of chlorogenic acid giving them antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties.
Manuka honey’s antibacterial properties are what set it apart from traditional honey. Methylglyoxal is its active ingredient and likely responsible for these antibacterial effects. Additionally, manuka honey has antiviral, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits.
Blue cornflower blossoms are a known expectorant and help to reduce fever.
Hot tea brewing method
Heat water to 100°C. Place 1 teaspoon of green tea per cup (and add 1 teaspoon for the pot) into the teapot. Pour the water into the pot and let it steep for about 5 - 7 minutes. Pour into your cup and enjoy. Alternatively, put the tea in a tea infuser and brew right in your cup. When preparing by the cup, this tea can be used repeatedly - about 3 times.

Iced Tea Brewing Method
Make as for hot, but add extra tea - a rule of thumb when preparing fresh brewed iced tea is to double the amount of tea leaves used per cup. When the tea has cooled a little, pour over ice. It is important to make it a little stronger as the ice will water it down.
Alternatively, you can cold brew the tea by placing the tea leaves in a jug and adding cold water. Leave to infuse for a few hours (or overnight in the fridge) strain and enjoy. Cold brewing will give a smoother taste. Garnish and sweeten to taste.
