Gorgeous natural apple fruit flavour very reminiscent of hot Moroccan days. This tea is suitable to be served to the whole family hot or cold as it is kind to teeth and caffeine free. Try keeping a chilled jug in the fridge over summer. Much healthier than sodas or sugary juice. As a serving suggestion, Don't sugar these teas excessively; there are natural sugars in the fruits, which sweeten the brew when rehydrated. If you add milk to this blend it will curdle due to the natural fruit content.
Hot Tea Brewing Method
Place 1 to 2 teaspoons of Turkish Apple Tea per cup (and add 1 teaspoon for the pot) into the teapot. Pour boiling water into the pot and let it steep for 5-7 minutes (or longer - the longer the steeping time to more intense the flavour) Pour into your cup and add sugar to taste.
Do not add milk - the milk will curdle due to the ingredients in this blend.
Try brewing the mix for a second time and perhaps add a little mint or ginger, slightly more sophisticated for the adults.
Iced Tea Brewing Method
Make as for hot, but add extra tea - when the tea has cooled a little pour over ice. It is important to make it a little stronger as the ice will water it down.
Alternatively, you can place the tea in a jug and add cold water. Leave to infuse for a few hours (or overnight in the fridge) strain and enjoy. Cold brewing will give a smoother taste.
